The Magic Book

It was the darkest night I had ever seen

When my world became my dream

Beneath the roots of a giant oak

My prayers were answered and I awoke

I found a book beneath the tree

That would shape my life and set me free

Each page was blank so crisp and white

And guided by the strangest light

I placed a poem on each page

And magic welcomed in an age

Of wonder and weird fantasy

The Land of Grimney would set me free

Magic Book
