The Giant

If you feel the ground about you quake

You will know that the Giant is awake

But fortunately he’s such a sleepy head

He spends most of his time tucked up in bed

When the giant stands he cannot see his feet

But the view he has is quite unique

For he could see for miles on end

If first some glasses you could lend

As the giants eyes are not what they were

So what he sees is caught in a blur

Which is quite a worry for those down below

As the Giant walks to and fro

Crushing buildings in his stride

As people quickly run and hide.
