This is dedicated to all the forums I've swept into...and out of again, because of selective moderation and bad administration. Don't you just love it when people use their 'power' to feel superior. I think some people forget what a forum is for. More like it's for...um...I forget!! Thankfully...Grimney is partial to a few cranks and crazies. I feel so at home :->

It looks like the end again
Nothing ever lasts to grow
Waiting 'till the next beginning
Knowing it's my time to go

Leaving things half-finished
Just falling away from it all
When interest has diminished

As loudly as I entered in

Keeping my pointed grin

Karina that's really nice of you to say. You know...it's everybody who posts here that makes this place what it is. If only a handful of people contributed, Grimney would soon become a very boring place. There is always room for more, more, more. Reading every new piece that's posted here is like opening a window and letting in some fresh air. I was mortified to find this forum a few months ago so dead and unused. What a huge waste of a site and what a shame it would have been if all the voyeurs had just carried on being just that.

One of the great things about Grimney is the moderation. Nobody is treated any better than anyone else and everybody is welcomed and let to create whatever they like. I'm sure any nastiness would be checked very quickly, but we are all adults and, for the most part, we can actually deal with the odd gripe ourselves and sort it out without having a hard-fisted moderator humiliate and belittle us in the open forum.

Obviously, Grimney would be nothing without its inhabitants. I've not met anyone yet who isn't 'playing nicely'. By that, I mean we are all here for the same reason. Not to try to be better than anyone else, or to intimidate others so we can feel better about ourselves. We are here to enjoy showing off our own creativity and enjoy other people's too...and we do...a lot...and why not? It's fun to share!!

People call me crazy,
