I lived in a world of darkness and pain no relief from this misery surrounding my brain Lie in the bed Where's the point, what's the use no-one loves me or wants me were I gone, who would lose? There's light at the end of the tunnel the'd say Yes. I know It's a train and it's coming my way A glimmer of light sometimes shone through the fear til the dark clouds came flooding in a torrent of tears then slowly, but slowly The black dog of hate came less to my window, to my sanity's gate the sun still shone the sky was still blue I rebuilt my life I came back to you I still hear him howl In the dead of the night But he stays in his kennel, I stay in the light So to you fellow travellar I say only this take heart, keep the faith you can climb from the Abyss. |
