I should have stayed in today
If I had
I wouldn't have eaten that big whopping burger
And
I wouldn't have eaten all those yummy crisps
Once I popped I just couldn't stop!

I should have stayed in today
If I had
I wouldn't have seen that ice-cream van
And
I wouldn't have asked for a flake and a fudge stick
Calling it a bunny's ears is just so cute!

I should have stayed in today
If I had
I wouldn't have spent all day wandering about
And
I wouldn't have walked for miles and miles
Not even caring how far it was!

I should have stayed in today
If I had
I wouldn't have met all those interesting people
And
I wouldn't have been able to hear their laughter
having fun and joking around!

I should have stayed in today
If I had
I could have worked out on my treadmill
And
I could have eaten only healthy things
There's plenty to do here!

Yeah right

But

I didn't stay in today
If I had
I would have been bored
And
I would have wished I'd gone out
Because I hate being indoors alone

So no

In fact

I shouldn't have stayed in today
If I had
I wouldn't have enjoyed it
And
I would have just sat here doing nothing
Watching telly and eating shit

Hee hee! I stayed in AND went out today so I like this poem a lot...it also makes me feel slightly happier and safer in the knowledge that I'm not the only one who displays mildly schizoid tendencies...
