Went to the Prado in Madrid recently. The Goya was astonishing although he is no good at horses. The biggest revelation for me is Dürer's Adam and Eve. Just blew me away. So next time you are in Madrid, put it on your must do list!

Has anyone else been to a great gallery recently or are there any old favourites you think fellow Grimnians should visit?

A while ago, I went to Upton House near Banbury. It may not be on the scale of some galleries, but they had a number of interesting paintings, including a Bosch http://beta.nationaltrust.org.uk/things-to-see-and-do/page-2/view-page/item418026/284055/

I didn't go far. Family matters. I'll be around this weekend. You do remember my email address, don't you? Might be better than using the forum for personal stuff.

It's only an hour away, I'll have to check it out sometime.

By the way Wraak, you can PM people if you don't want to post personal stuff on the forum.

Sorry, my fault. Won't happen again. :(
