It's always good to try something new. Sometimes it's surprising how good you actually are at it. If you don't try it, how would you ever know?

I love reading scripts. I can really get into them far more easily than I can a story. I like writing them too...imagining I'm actually in the situation I'm writing about. Whether I'm a female or male...a dog or a cat. It's so mind-bending sometimes when you actually start believing you're the person you're writing for.

I hardly know who I am anymore!

Anyway, I'll give Rick and Kath a ring later and see what they think.

Sod the actors - give me Tim Burton ;)

Scratch that - Paul Haggis. I'll say it loud, and I'll say it proud - I bloomin' loved Crash. Brilliantly constructed and executed bit of cinematography that, I felt.

By the way, talking of screenwriting - any Celtx members in here?

I shan't link to it in case it breaches the advertising rules (though it is freeware) - if you like screenwriting it's a brilliant community forum, and free software that pretty much rivals Final Draft.

Also, if you Google 'Celtx Seeds' they're giving away up to $2,000 on fledgling film projects at the moment - think there's a couple of weeks left to get an application in. Make that idea a reality!

Lee Ingleby & Eddie Marsan

... and the sp would have to be something Dark Ages, or medieval at the latest.
